Jerry Bruckheimer, born as Jerome Leon "Jerry" Bruckheimer on September 21, 1945 is an American film and television producer. He is considered one of the most successful movies makers of all times. Many of his films were produced by Disney and Paramount, and the television series were produced by Warner Brothers. He is called "Mr. Blockbuster" for his track record of highly successful commercial ventures. His work is said to have brought approximately $13 billion to Hollywood and paved way for launching many of the actors and directors.
Some of his best movies are the Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop, Con Air, to name a few and the television series include the CSI series, Without a Trace, The Amazing Race,windows usb dvd download tool, etc.
His parents were German Jewish immigrants. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in psychology. Bruckheimer was film buff from a very early age and was also shown a keen interest in photography. After finishing his college he went on to work in advertising and produced a number of award winning commercials.

He later diversified into television in 1997. The most successful of his television venture was the police drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", he then went on to produce a reality show called "The Amazing Race. He set a record when three of his Television series ranked in the top 10.
Bruckheimer received in 2000 the David O. Selznick Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Producers Guild and in 2006 University of Arizona's College of Fine Arts honored him with the a doctor of fine arts degree.
